The Humbert bridge at Al Basrah is the next target on the "frag list". It has to be put out of action to halt enemy armour movements into the South of the country. The bridge is an important river crossing along the enemys Lines Of Supply.

Hornet Three and Hornet Four are the main "bomb carriers" in this mission. Their job is to put the MK84LDs right on top of the bridge and knock it out.

You are to launch behind Hornet Two and follow him at 420KIAS and 15,000 feet ASL. Your primary targets are the SAM sites which are closest to the bridge. You must knock out the SAM sites and protect Hornet Three and Four. Hornet Two will protect you from any IQAAF response.

We expect light IQAAF response. Attacks on Al Basrah IQAAF base over the past week have reduced it's ability to operate efficiently.

A F117 Stealth aircraft is currently stationed at Safwan. He will launch at 0220 hrs. His mission is classified. Take care if you recover early at Safwan... make sure you do not collide with him in the dark.

Four F-16s are based at Safwan. They are tasked to harass the IQAAF at the H2 Airbase North of Quatir at 0217 hrs. They will drop CBU-59 Cluster bombs across the base. Ensure that you EID any aircraft North of you as you pass by H2 on the way to Waypoint 1.

Do not engage any IQAAF fighters who may scramble from H2 Airbase unless they lock up up with their radars. Let the F-16s deal with them.
